Absolutely amazing! The food is cooked right in front of you, while the chef does tricks and tells jokes lol. Best experience and not even that much pricier than other nice restaurants that don't give you entertainment! Will definitely be back

This place gave us such an awesome experience! It was a little pricey but was it ever good! Chop and Sawmill have nothing on Japanese Village's steak. The service was incredible and our chef Joe was alot of fun to watch, I couldn't stop smiling while watching him. We didn't have a reservation and were seated quickly and had a waitress in just a few minutes. The second we walked in the smell of the steaks being cooked was amazing and got us really excited to have dinner. We ordered a new York steak which came with a soup and a salad to start the soap was really good and the salad had a nice dressing. After our starter and appetizer Joe came and as said above he was really entertaining should us how to play "Japanese Basketball" lol if you go to this location ask for Joe we certainly will again! Management was really nice came and talked to us about how everything is and we talked for a bit too. Loved our time here and can't wait to go back. Thank you Joe! :)

Great food, good service. The fans in the restaurant are very loud so it’s hard to hear people talk and we couldn’t hear the chef all that well. The restaurant is clean and pretty much spotless. Overall great restaurant

Only our second Japanese Village experience, but the best so far! Not cheap by any means but for a once in a while good meal. Excellent!

Japanese Village has been my favorite restaurant for a very long time, it's still is. I usually go to the one on the north end, but they were all booked. This one in west edmonton mall did not disappoint. The service was excellent and the food was amazing as usual!
