I'm the owner of WJC Concrete, I was doing a bunch of civil work for Joel Batch and David Jackson, they got me to do a bunch of work. I gave very good rates to complete the projects.. They were very picky with tiny clean up with one project scope, even though contract stated that client has to provide water for clean up as we did 9 different sites with one concrete truck to save them money. Each section turned out great and passed.. They held my money for over 90 days when it was supposed to be paid within 30 days. Also did a project in White Rock, 420 feet of sidewalk with 2 city walk way let downs. Was cleaned up and finished within 1 week of work. No problems and passed right way, they have held my money for over 100 days now and still haven't received payment.. The finishing work turned out beautiful and no problems. Their management is completely unprofessional and they do not fulfill contract agreement or invoice agreements.. No company should be waiting over 100 days to receive payment when the job was done and completed properly in one week.. BC Hydro should be ashamed on using companies like this to do their projects as they have no clue on how to do basic prep work. Let alone concrete work.

Worked for Forbes for 5yrs. Made a lot of friends learned a lot from the solid management team I worked under and the pay was excellent. I would go back without hesitation!
