It has been 10 years since Dr Tahir removed a suspicious mole that was Stage 1 level 1 melanoma. Extremely rare find per his words. He saved my life as far as I am concerned. Bi-annual exams ever since. He has always been caring, sensitive, respectful but most importantly, thorough. His staff treats me in the same manner. He is simply an amazing dermatologist and teacher to those he mentors. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!

Life saving work being done here. My father in law came here to have some skin cancer removed using the Mohs surgery, developed in 1938 by a general surgeon, Frederic E. Mohs, is microscopically controlled surgery used to treat common types of skin cancer. During the surgery, after each removal of tissue and while the patient waits, the tissue is examined for cancer cells That examination informs the decision for additional tissue removal. Mohs surgery is one of the many methods of obtaining complete margin control during removal of a skin cancer (CCPDMA – complete circumferential peripheral and deep margin assessment) using frozen section histology.[1] CCPDMA or Mohs surgery allows for the removal of a skin cancer with very narrow surgical margin and a high cure rate. The wait can be long but all is done the same day. My father in law had a great experience and was very happy with the results.

I have been seeing Dr Taher over 10 years. Can’t express here how I became admired of him because of his charismatic decision making clinical solutions on every single visit. One time many plastic surgeons or skin specialists failed to provide solutions for one of my skin issue which I was suffering for two years . It is not exaggeration, he fixed the skin in two weeks. I honestly can’t put into enough words how extremely personable and extremely knowledgeable the care and customer service from the “Edmonton Dermatology Cosmetic Center” have been. They go above and beyond to take care of their patients concerns and treatments first. I have never seen staff with such dedication and competence. This clinic is one of the utmost when it comes to customer care, knowledge and professionalism . I have nothing but spectacular words to say about the staff and client care I received. Thanks for giving me hope again with the difficulties I have been having with my skin over the years. I have been to so many places and its been a rough journey. And a big thank you to Eva with a call back a few days after I attended the clinic to check in and see how things were with my new products. Dr. Taher is an kind, empathetic, and considerate practitioner who may very well be the best dermatologist in Edmonton. I was referred to him for a check up and his team, from the front desk to the nurses, were absolutely the best. I felt looked after which made the whole experience stress free. After a thorough examination I was referred to another specialist - but this wasn't the end of the care and consideration. I received a follow up call a few weeks later confirming my treatment progress and asking if there was anything else the clinic could do. I fully recommend this clinic for any of your dermatology needs.
