Would have liked to have found this place sooner! I always hauled my scrap copper and aluminum trims to General (156th). The owner here supports local businesses and causes, is extremely community conscious. Please support this company in these crazy times!

Always my go-to when i'm disposing my copper and iron. Service is always fantastic and they are always so quick to go above and beyond for anything I need. Mike is hands down one of the friendliest and most helpful gentleman I have ever met. 10 stars!

I visit acme on a regular basis. Every one is extremely helpful, I enjoy going in. The office staff is always super friendly and so helpful. I always leave with a smile no matter how bad my day was before I got there. I would definitely recommend taking your scrap metal there.

Had a mixed load with mostly thin wall mild steel and some bigger pieces of tubing, thick wall galvanized tubes as well as probably 50 lbs of aluminum. This guy told me to place it all in the \white\ pile (lowest price) for old appliances of which I had none. Seems like a busy place, intended more for commercial outfits, which is all well and good. But if you have small loads , mixed loads, you're not sure of what you got, what it's worth, where exactly it needs to go, I'd take it somewhere else.
