My partner and I came into the store today to look for some fun games and I was blown away by how helpful and friendly one particular staff member was (I wish I got his name but I didn't want to put him on the spot in front of his colleagues while we were checking out). We were looking for a competitive 2 player game and this fella went out of his way to take us around the store and make specific suggestions based on other games that we already enjoy playing. He took the time to explain the pros and cons, how the game played and why people like it - all with a friendly smile (beneath his mask) and a charismatic attitude. I felt the need to share this review because not only was I not really expecting this level of service while searching for a board game, but it was definitely that type of customer service experience that sticks with you!

Selection! And very friendly service with helpful and honest opinions. Huge selection of games to test in the back, and they don’t mind if you bring your own food in while play testing. Tho only one staff working, and some games are too high up to reach without help.
One of the best customer experiences. Because of limited store allowances, as we waited to go into the store in line in the cold one of the employees came outside to ask us what we were looking for, tell us if it was in stock, made suggestions and was super knowledgeable on options for different ages, complexity and game play styles for their massive selection. He would go into the store and bring out suggestions if you were unsure and explain how it played in comparison to other similar games.
So sorry, I could have sworn I already reviewed this place. And why wouldn't I? Excellent service from patient and friendly staff. Great selection and, at least before Covid, a try before you buy selection of games. True enthusiasts who are passionate about what they do. Competitive prices, so skip the A'zon and shop local!
Great selection of games! You could browse here for hours. The guy at the front seemed very enthusiastic and knowledgeable. Prices are a bit higher than average or what you can find online – but I’m happy to support a local store.
