I have been going to Dr. Carlin as my dentist since he first came to town. After over 30yrs I consider him a friend as well as my dentist. The staff are all friendly and professional as well. I trust his judgement completely. There was a time when I wanted him to go ahead and do a procedure to try and fix a problem tooth, but he honestly said he was unsure it would fix the intermittent pain I was experiencing and could just be money wasted. That was more honest than most would be given how it would put money in his pocket. In the end he agreed to do the procedure, and the good news is that the tooth has never caused me pain when chewing food ever since and that was around ten years ago. It is difficult for me to relate to people who are so afraid of dentists since I always enjoy my visits to see George. My fear is what I will do when he eventually retires!
