Stayed with a big group of guys for our AST1 avalanche training course with Flow Guiding out of Golden. Each of us had a Karma Campervan. The best way to travel especially during covid (I’m a Karma owner). They set us up and plowed a few sites clear for us. Allowed us to use the big fire pit. Bathrooms were warm but toilets needed a better cleaning IMO and there was no paper towel. Otherwise I’d highly recommend it for a winter staging campground for backcountry adventures.

Best location for visiting National Parks in the Rockies. Centrally located between Yoho NP and Glacier NP. Facilities were good, there are a few mobile homes being updated adjacent to the park. Owners have green thumbs, flowers and plants everywhere. Bathrooms are clean and well maintained. Store has small inventory of items, but shopping should be in Golden, about 25 minutes away.
What a lovely spot in the heart of the mountains. Lovely site owners, awesome facilities and beautiful starlight nights. Has everything you need and more. We can’t wait to stop by again sometime soon!
Nice campground. Just off the highway past Golden. Owners are very nice. Had a drop in spot for us right away.

We stopped here on the way through the area and had a great experience. Our site was nice. The owners were very friendly and the showers/bathrooms were a nice surprise. Some of the sites are quite close together so I imagine if it was busy it wouldn’t be too pleasant. But, during our stay we had lots of room to ourselves. We’d for sure recommend. If you’re passing through and need a spot you’re in good hands here.
Great place to stay. Just off the Trans Canada Highway. Very warm welcome from the hosts.
