I saw Desiree for prenatal and postpartum massages and highly recommend her. She specializes in perinatal work and her expertise and comfort in this field shows. She has a great set up for prenatal massage and managed to make me comfortable and relaxed even very late in my pregnancy. She is professional, conscientious, and provides great service when it comes to scheduling.
Desiree is a wonderful practitioner whose warmth and kindness puts you at ease as soon as you meet her. She is incredibly skilled and intuitive in her massage (finding and working through tension I couldn’t readily identify) and I always leave feeling relaxed and dreamy at the end of my hour. Her practice is a wonderful addition to the community and I can’t wait for my next massage!
I booked a massage with Desiree in March 2017 because my low back was in pain and causing me to struggle at work. Her treatment was very effective and I felt a huge improvement immediately after. Over the next 24 hours I continued to feel better, and a full day of work on my feet the next day wasn't an issue. Desiree gave me some helpful exercises / tips for home and I appreciated the detailed explanation she provided. I also appreciated that they were manageable and easy! Over the course of the next few days I had all but forgotten about my pain. I would highly recommend making an appointment with her.
