Great pl to practice in winter Turf gives u very natural feel of normal grass field
Nice turf soccer field, grass field, ball diamond, and community & restroom facilities. Covered team areas & sprctator seating at turf field. A bit chilly when wind coming through.
Soccer and baseball fields. Nice new turf, good to play on. Public washrooms.
I was at the hardball diamond George Pinter Diamond no turf, no lights, funny how the park gets a upgrade on the softball side with the soccer field and the hardball side doesn't get much, no lights, just got new cut outs the lawn was cut, in summer fighting with the municipality about turning off the sprinklers so we don't have to get rid of all the water left on the playing field. The hardball diamond has been there for yrs, there was supposed to be a score clock, lights, someone obviously pocketed the money or spent somewhere else, we have had great players that played out of there and their coaches that coached great players that are playing now, and playing in a sub par field, that could have been the best ever field. So if my readers are reading this , get off their @##% and get someone make it how it was supposed to be. I am sorry for my rant, but the truth hurts. It also hurts to see the Delta Stars players cutting the infield , filling in holes the young Padres players doing the samething, when we play a game, their Parksboard should be ashamed, flooding the infield in the summer, turf it so u don't waste water
