Just went to Chand's Restaurant in Delta. This restaurant is very popular among the Fijian community. Everything is Halal here and supplied by South Seas. The best part about this restaurant is its prices and options. I simply ordered Fijian Lamb Curry. It came along with Tomato Chutney, Fijian style Daal, Imli Chutney, Papad, Rice and Roti. All I paid was 14.99. The food was extremely delicious and offers a complete meal on budget. They use in house spices and everything is made from scratch. For now its take out only.
I ordered puri, 2 times for an event, both times the puri was not fully cooked it was so oily that you can wring it out & can use it to fry more puri, I wish I can post a picture of the puri, the owner only says I'm sorry but it doesn't look like he advices his cook how bad the he or she makes & cooks it unevenly rolled out too.If you want to get sick & get high cholesterol chands is the place to order oily puri, it was such an embrassment for my guest & they told me throw it in garbage .
Great experience every time. Excellent service, delicious food. They go out of their way to accommodate their customers. Highly recommended.
