Awful experience with this company. I bought a snaggletooth oval chainring for my mountain bike from them and it was defective. It produced a loud grinding noise which could actually be felt while pedaling the bike, making it unridable. It was the correct chainring for my crank and it was installed correctly. I later came to find out that I received an old version of the chainring and that the design had been recently updated because they received so many complaints about the old version. I had the unfortunate experience of dealing with some guy named “Charlie”, who works there and refused to allow me to exchange or return the defective item. He was extremely hostile and told me that “the design of the chainring was something that we all have to put up with”. Hostile customer service reps and low quality products. Do not buy from this company.

Brutally rude and short customer service guy today when I called about THEIR OWN products to understand the differences. The guy who took my call didn't seem to even know his own products, and when I asked about the differences between TrailX v1 and v2. I had been looking at OneUp when I discovered BlackSpire had some sales going, and when I mentioned I was also looking at OneUp, the guy got even more snarky and told me to go and buy one of OneUp's then ... so guess what, I will and will never buy a BlackSpire product again. Surprised this guys are even in business with this sort of Customer Service to a potential customer! Brutal.
I received terrible customer service from Scott and Charlie. Not only did they refuse to warranty my 3 month old cracked chan ring, but they did so in a very rude and unprofessional manner
