I went to DBA last year. I have thyroid problem, fatty liver, low energy, prediabetic. Now, my energy is back to normal, and blood results show no more fatty liver (after 6 months). Yes, I did change my diet. More dandelion teas, less fried foods, did research online about fatty liver, and regained my energy back. Supplements helped me a lot. They were: probiotic, magnesium, papaya seeds, b12 and I can't remember if any other. Overall, my health has improved, but yes MUST CHANGE the diet too, otherwise useless.
