Not only is Dave Park a talented musician with proficiency on many instruments, he is also a talented teacher. I came to lessons with a lot of 'baggage' : arthritis in my left hand, lack of self confidence and limited time to practise. Dave worked with all these challenges, encouraging and inspiring me . He has developed a unique method of active, mindful practice achieving results even when time to practise is short. He is a kind, patient and dedicated teacher and definitely one of the best music teachers out there.

My son has been taking guitar lessons for three years with Dave and has progressed to the point where he can play in a youth band, perform in talent shows and even accompany a singer for a wedding reception song. He is always happy to go to his lessons and feels valued by Dave and also pushed to do his best. We just booked another set of lessons for this year!
Dave is an exceptional music teacher. We drive 45mins to get to his studio from where we live because of his teaching. We have tried other music teachers in our area and they are average and do not challenge my children. He teaches a wide range of instruments and is very talented. We are thankful for him.
I wouldn't want any other guitar teacher. He is so kind and really does help you in lessons. I would pay a million dollars for one lesson. He really can get you connected with the music and also has a great sense of humour. Dave always knows what to say to make ya feel better if you come to your lesson feeling beat up and down. He's the best 10/10 would recommend to anyone looking for guitar/lessons for anything. Even life lessons i'd pay for him to teach me about life.
My son has taken both guitar and drum lessons and has really enjoyed it. He gets to play music he likes and will usually practice without being asked to.
Dave was an inspiring cello teacher for our daughter, encouraging her and drawing out her gifts and strengths. She thoroughly enjoyed her weekly lessons and improved steadily over the course of the year.
