The people at the SPCA were wonderfully kind to us and the seriously injured stay cat we brought them. Our town Frelighsburg does not automatically participate with them but i am happy we paid the fee to help the kitty we brought them.

Animals are well treated and loved. Space to roam for the cats and large cages for the dogs. A good quarantine area for sick or newly rescued pets. Downside is the staff seem to barely speak English but that's an oversight. Good adoption policies. Well managed.
