One of the best museums of its kind in Canada. Small but very filled with artefacts and stories of Canadians in times of war. I make it a point each year to visit the Comox Valley to see what this amazing museum has on exhibit. This year it is an exhibit on the stories of children in war. Excellent job once more and extremely moving experience. If you like museums like the National War Museum in Ottawa or the Calgary military museums, you will love this small gem in downtown Courtenay.

Outstanding! This is a brilliant little museum with a fascinating collection of pieces telling the story of the HMCS Alberni, as well as lots of other interesting bits on Canada's war history.

Short and sweet museum, entrance fee is by donation, and the guy working there was very nice and knowledgeable. Would recommend checking out if your in the area
