I love beer and have been a fan of craft/micro/independant beers for a very long time. I make it a point to visit Rurban everytime I am in Cornwall. Andy and his lovely wife are always available to answer any questions or just chat about beer. If you get Andy going he can really talk you ear off about beer. He know his stuff which is evidenced by all the great beers he brews. It is rare that a brewer can have success with many different styles of beer, but Rurban seems to do just that. Meanwhile Andy seems to put enough variation into each style that it give his beers a uniqueness. Rurban beers are never too hoppy or too bitter. The Brewery show room is quaint but well set up for tastings. There are even a few beers on tap. The beers for purchase range in price (tallboys only) from 2.50 - 3.00. I highly recommend a visit if your in Cornwall or even passing through on the 401. Cheers...
Super cool space, really helpful staff and the beer is amazing. Got some IPAs and they're some of the best beers I've ever had. We'll Well worth the trip from Montreal
Solid beer, but the others are strange / limited, especially for the 9-5 crowd. I highly recommend the stout.
