I had approached the Consulate to attest a set of POA documents and I received them within 3 weeks without any followup. Since the pandemic, most organizations are working at skeletal capacity and delays are understandable. The time duration mentioned on the Consulate’s website is roughly 3 to 5 days for attestation but don’t be surprised if this takes longer. My suggestion is if possible have the documents send to the Consulate much in advance to accommodate for the additional time.

Unfortunately I cant rate any lower than 1 it doesn't deserve even a single EDIT: Changed to Rating : Thanks to help from Mr. Hardeep Singh ( vice consul ), who'd personally looked into the outstanding matter , there was finally a resolution after many many weeks . ਦਾਤਾ ਮਿਹਰ ਕਰੇ

I got an appointment with CGI after trying out several times and crossing hardships with BLS. Mr. Mehar Singh from CGI helped me to get my passport renewed as swiftly as possible once I reached them. If you have real urgency reach CGI via email with explanation and they would help.

It might be harder to get in touch with them but once you have provided appropriate documentation and information they work on applications in timely manner. Thanks for processing my passport renewal request swiftly as it was needed urgently. Appreciate your efforts.

Absolutely useless.. Have been reaching out via emails, twitter, phone calls for many weeks now, no response whatsoever. Thought they were suppose to help Indians in Canada but cannot rely on them at all. Why even provide a phone number if you are not going to answer any calls.
