I would give this place 4 stars but it is not worth the 4 stars. BlogTO recommended this, it was suppose to be NewGen(3 years ago) but I think they changed. First the price was expensive, we were a group of 5 on a Friday night, not busy, but it was 32.99 per person plus tax with tip came around 42. There are plenty of different sushi spots you can go to for cheaper. For that price you can go to an a la cart sushi and you would get better quality fish. Second service was mediocre even though it wasn’t busy. Also the rice portion to the fish was too much.

Firstly, the food we ordered was very good. The steaks me and my sons ordered were cooked near oerfectly. And my wife had the scallops, and they were done well, as well. So our tummies were content, but there was no cooking show to speak of. Besides putting a smiley face with oil on the grill and creating a big flame for 2 seconds, there was no entertainment at all. And that is in part what we are paying for. The service was good enough, but we all expected to see more of a show. This place, like many of the teppanyaki places that have opened in the last 5 years can cook, but do not put on much, if any, of a show.
Great service and Food they accommodated us even though we did not have a reservation.
Very angry that we waited more than one hour and after we ask for 4 times service, they just gave us a few dishes of food. Is it all you can eat? OMG!
Nice place. Good food and different dining experience. Kids really like the chef's style. Service was good but I ordered an item off the menu and it was delivered to someone else in our party. Large group of 30 people for private party so I did not want to make a scene and let it slide Servers should pay attention as to who ordered the food in order to serve it to the right person. Overall it was a great experience and fabulous party.
Great service, great food. Their signature roll is terrific. The fish was very good quality and the presentation was nice. We went during a slow time so had very fast and attentive service. Would 100% return soon.
When we got to the restaurant. It looked beautiful. We went to our seats and had to squeeze beside another party.. Goodness good but they did not give you exactly what you ordered after the first round. Then when it came to dessert I found 2 eyelashes in my mango ice cream. Can I say I was turned off completely. They did not offer to discount my meal or anything. Only offered another ice cream, like really bit interested in that. The cook was amazing other than that. But will not be going back anytime soon.
Came in at 8:50, staff said all you can eat was done but asked for us to have it til 9:15. Didn't get sushi til 9:30-9:40 was subpar. Staff was super nice, that's the only reason why I gave 3 stars. They were shocked at the fact we didn't receive our food either.
