The room we stayed in was a 2 queen bedroom. It was big enough room. but we found the towels had visible stains. The blankets had dirty and ever washed stains. It was disgusting. We did not use those blankets luckily the sheets were clean so we used them. The AC was keep tripping so the temperature control was bad. The washroom window had no blind and it was open in a non-fenced backyard. so it was not appropriate at all. The room has big windows but none of them had locks. It was not safe at all and easy to break in the room. I think they can improve quality by being serious about their business. I will not come back to this motel and will not recommend if you are going to stay with family.

This. It's not as bad as we were dreading it to be since we booked it as last resort for Thanksgiving weekend 2017. NO BED BUGS. I did have to clear out a spider web from the corner of the door and wipe the bathroom floor due to boot prints. The bathroom is newly renovated. The room is clean. It needs something on the wall ie. painting to make it more inviting. The walls and windows are thin; next morning, sleep disrupted from people chilling by their doors and loud radio. BTW the motel is at the end border of Collingwood crossing over to Wasaga Beach town. Motel was hard to find since behind a giant Indian Buffet sign that is part of the motel but not even in business.
Terrible experience. We booked by phone and were given a rate for the Pleasant Manor Motel. Upon arrival we were told our room was actually at this motel., The Collingwood Motel. Owner owns both locations. It was disgusting, holes in the ceiling, open wires in the wall, mattress on 2nd bed wasn't a mattress, it was 2 ft short of a real mattress, not sure what it was. We returned to the office and owner was hostile, extremely rude and refused to give us our money back saying we used the room. Then he called the cops on us!!! We couldn't believe it. Our little family is pretty chill and doesn't need anything fancy and we haven't had a weekend off together since March. We were just looking for a weekend away with our son. Do not stay here. Do not stay at the Pleasant Manor Motel either, unless you are looking to get ripped off.
A no frills motel which was better than what I expected. Very clean room which seemed to have been renovated recently. The bathroom was spotless and the mattress was perfectly firm. I recommend this place if you're looking for a comfortable room to stay for the night after a day of skiing at Blue Mountain. Things that can be improved/added: a rack for hanging clothes, a night stand by the bed, an additional hook in the bathroom to hang clothes/wet towel, and maybe a more visible sign for the main office door (hard to find at night).
The management in this motel is fraud, rude and unprofessional .They take advantage and do not respect students.Coming students be aware.I have a worst experience in Canada.
Good hotel good price
Its creepy. The only ok thing about this place is the lone staff at the receiption desk who was friendly. The place does not seem family friendly at all being located far from the major city centre. It's right on Beechwood rd but hidden away in the dark at night. The back has a wooded area which lakes it very creepy at night. Our room had a back window which was very easy to open from outside. The bathroom and the pantry were clean but the interior overall is very shabby looking. We checked for bedbugs after reading previous reviews but thankfully didn't see any.
We booked and cancelled upon arrival. Creepy worn down looks like where nightmares take place. The restaurant was closed down and there was a super strong smell in the room I was shown. HOWEVER... the woman working there was polite and understanding when we decided to stay elsewhere... a shame really.
