We have stayed in this motel for many nights. We have stayed in different rooms almost every time, we have been in the room with a single bed, a room with a kitchenette and than their very nice jacuzzi room. Each room had a different look and feel, that being said the single bed room was great the room is a great size, the bedding was great, and bed was comfortable. The kitchenette room was a nice upgrade the kitchenette was a perfect size, just to get food prepared. The fridge was perfect also. Also clean and well kept. The jacuzzi room was definitely a wonderful room by far our favourite. The bedding was fresh and smelled nice and clean. The shower was clean there was soap shampoo/conditioner all complimentary. The towels/clothes and bath mat all freshly washed and clean, floors were clean, dresser was clean, complimentary wifi that worked great. We loved the room which I will add that the rooms we have stayed in are newly renovated (painted, flooring etc) the room was a great temperature, the tv worked great. The staff was absolutely amazing. Erin, the manager was very kind, accommodating and always easy to get along with. She was very helpful whenever we needed anything. There was one time the wifi had been acting up during one of our stays, and we walked down to speak to Erin about it and she took immediate action and reset the router and wahlaa worked as good as new. Erin took action every time that anything was needed and was polite, she is also very cautious with the covid guidelines always wears a mask, hand sanitizes, wipes everything down. Overall our stay was amazing and we couldn’t be happier. We will return and definitely will recommended this motel to all of our friends or anyone we can recommend it too. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay Knights Inn and thank you Erin for being so kind and welcoming, and making our stay a even greater one!

Wow...what a great little motel. Staff was very friendly and helpful. I was greeted with a cheery attitude. My room was very clean. Came with microwave, fridge, kettle and hotplate. Some rooms even come with full size fridges and stoves, but I was only there for 1 night so the hotplate was perfect for our needs. Bed was comfortable, and the wifi worked great. I highly recommend this place, and I will definitely stay here again. Easy access right off the 401, and close to everything. We were so pleased with our stay. Next time we are in Cobourg, The Knights Inn will be our go to motel.

The staff are rude. Plain and simple. They are bullies and treat most of the people terribly. Only showed respect and was treated rudely almost every interaction. And the rooms during covid, an absolute disgrace.

For one, staff is rude, for two better hope you don't have cats, because they hate cats but love dogs. Our cats were in our van and the girl called the Humane Societee, even tho we kept it heated and they had food and water everyday, and let me mention the room, door dosent shut, bathroom door doesn't work, once its shut you can't get out.

Unfortunately when we arrived from out of town, (Toronto), at 4pm, we checked in and paid 150.00 cash for the honeymoon suite. After entering the room we noticed the bed sheets had not been changed from the previous guest. there was tooth paste in the bathroom sink, and the toilet seat was completely broken and had urine stains on it. We notified the office (Erin) who is fantastic by the way! She was very apologetic for the situation and changed the bedding, cleaned the entire bathroom and then went to the hardware store for a new toilet seat, which she installed when she returned. the hotel check in time is 3pm, we did not get in our cleaned room until after 5pm, we tried to stay positive (because Erin) was doing everything possible to make it right!!! we left the motel at 6:15pm as we had dinner reservations for 630pm. When we returned to the room at 11pm, we filled the hot tub thinking we can now relax after all the cleaning requirements when we arrived, the tub water was BROWN, and we could not enjoy the tub :(.... very disappointing for us, and to make matters even more unbearable we attempted to go to bed and catch some sleep, please take note that the mattress is so uncomfortable we were up at 3am, and could not get any sleep. we left the premises at 530am and headed back home. We have never felt so ripped off in our travels, 150.00 cash for a room that was unsanitary when we arrived, a hot tub that we couldn't use, and a bed that we could not sleep on. it feels like we paid 150 to meet Erin, and have a smoke in the parking lot!!!

Clean and comfortable and really quiet despite having neighbours in other rooms. Didn't hear boo. We had a spacious efficiency suite and we're allowed a late check-out which was great.

As you would expect, older motel with a few updates at some point in time. Room was clean and people at reception were friendly and helpful. A good cheap and cheerful option if that's what you are looking for.
