Who knew the best nudist club in western Canada existed right here in humble little Cobble Hill? Well, I sure wish I had known about this place years ago! My husband and I live on beautiful Cortes Island, and even though we live in paradise, we still come to Sol Sante for holidays because it's so much fun! And it's so peaceful! We love playing pickleball and water volleyball, and the members put together amazing events on the long weekends. We have felt very welcome at this club, and immediately included. It's a safe, non-sexualized, body-positive, family atmosphere. It's so comfortable to be naked here you don't even give it a second thought.
I am sitting here at Sol Sante in a rental trailer marvelling about the last few days. The people here have been so nice to my wife & I. They have gone out of their way to greet us and suggest things to do. It was very hot during our stay so we spent a lot of time in the pool. As the swimmers came and went, they all seemed to take time to chat with us. I can't begin to guess how many invitations we got to a "happy hour" at one of the member's places and to a social weekend coming up. I wish the temperature had been cooler. Members kept reassuring us that this was abnormally hot. I am enjoying the 5th wheel that we rented. My wife thinks it is pricey. Having never been in a 5th wheel before, it seems okay to me. There is plenty of wide open space, a (shallow) pool good for conversation, a hot tub, a nice lounge, petanque court, a busy social calendar and tonnes of other things that I haven't had time to check out. If you like rabbits, there are plenty of them. I got out of the pool one night to find 3 deer grazing nearby. Apparently the grounds are home to a black bear which shows its face now and then but has yet to cause problems. Clothing is NOT an option at Sol Sante so first timers take note. Though it is hard for my wife & I to get time off work together, I do plan on coming back and recommend Sol Sante to all naturists.
I find the people of Sol Sante Club to be very friendly. As the say" just wear a smile" and like all the nakation-vacations, our nudist comaraderie makes for a true adventure for the first-time venture. Hospitality combined with the summer fun of the Canadian West and Pacific Northwest makes for a wonderful, nudist club tour. We see many guests here at Arcadia Nudist Resort in WA traveling the ferry from Port Angeles to Victoria up to Sol Sante Nudist Club. Californians especially enjoy the clean-air, and wide-open spaces with plenty of nature to go along. Eagles flying overhead, and yes, the deer abound. Didn't spot the b-b-b..black bear. ;-)
