Jacuzzi Brand Buyer Beware

Hello from Pompano Beach Florida: ) The Jacuzzi brand is now owned by \Investindustrial\ per Wikipedia and is NOT affiliated with the Jacuzzi family who founded the original Jacuzzi company in 1915 and made their pump products in the USA. The original Jacuzzi family owned company has not been in business since 1979 when they sold the business to corporate conglomerate Walter Kidde, Inc. The Jacuzzi name is a trademark now recently owned by Investindustrial. Investindustrial also owns Sundance Spas, Dimension One Spas and Thermospas all of which are assembled in the same manufacturing plant in Mexico. Jacuzzi brand hot tubs are now assembled with LX Chinese pumps made in China by Guangdong LX Pump Company. Per online written Jacuzzi manufacturer's warranty, the wood frame and jets are warranted for only 2 years from the original date of purchase, not 5 years as only verbally promised by most Jacuzzi retailers: Warranty is only as good as what's written in warranty documentation from the manufacturer. Again, don't be fooled, Jacuzzi is now just a trademarked name owned by another company (Investindustrial) who assembles hot tubs in Mexico with the Jacuzzi logo, 2 year warranty and uses Chinese pumps.

Piscine hors terre achetée en 2015(4800 CAD). 5 ans garantis 100% et 60 ans garantis prorata.. Connexions plastiques qui fissure en 2017...pas couverte par la garantie. Réparations 85 CAD a nos frais, Pompe arête de fonctionner en 2018. Pas couverte par la garantie. Réparations 120 CAD a nos frais printemps 2019...Poteau de soutien fissuré et mur déformé. Estimation réparations 4500 ....pas couverte par la garantie. Explications représentant Club Piscine: le dommage est causé par le froid. Le froid à Québec n’est pas une surprise pour personne...un fabricant de produits doit s’assurer que leurs assemblages résistent à nos hivers. Vous pouvez acheter une piscine et le remplacer a toute les deux ans….Parce que c’était trop frais en hiver…..Pas couverte par la garantie.

Certains membres du personnel sont extrêmement impolis et baveux. Pour un service à la clientèle minimal c’est inacceptable. J’y vais parce que c’est le plus près de chez moi, mais si j’avais un autre choix, je n’y mettrais plus jamais les pieds. Il y a des gens qui ne devraient jamais avoir à faire avec la clientèle et Il y en a une couple de spécimens dans ce commerce, principalement au test d’eau. C’est platte pour ceux qui sont courtois, tout leur bon travail est détruit...

Nous magasinons une piscine creusée pour l’an prochain. Je sais très bien qu’une piscine se magasine en personne et non par téléphone mais dans le contexte actuel, nous avons tout de même fait un premier contact par téléphone pour avoir un peu d’information il y a de ça un mois, hélas le vendeur n’a même pas daigné retourner mon appel. WoW... ça donne toute une première impression
