We did not stay in the campground or RV park, but sure will make sure to do that on the next trip to the area. We stopped on at Mike's Road Kill Grill, the reviews seemed too good to be true, but I'm going to add my glowing review to the list. Best BBQ we have had in a very long time, will definately be making a stop in everyone we are in the area!

The dinner was everything that we were promised! The best ribs in North America and cheapest in Canada... or something like that. The grilled ribs and chicken breast were so moist and tender, and we were lucky it was wild morels season too (gosh it was so good grilled with butter). It was one of the best meals we’ve had in Canada so far, but for an amazing price you won’t find anywhere else. Mike has been running the restaurant for 20 years (hows that for an impressive resume)! He’s also fun to talk to- you don’t often meet someone who’s travelled to over 100 countries. BUT if you’re the type to get up in arms about political correctness and are highly sensitive, be forewarned... and don’t forget that freedom of thought and freedom of expression are human rights!
If you say something negative about this place, you have problems and you need some new brain cells ! You have to understand this guy with a unic and outstanding personality. Let’s start with the food. Ahhhmazing. Best ribs we have had in a long time. Definitely worth the stop. The zucchini casserole was a hit also. The owner wasn’t taking no for an answer about at least trying it. 5 of us tried it, 5 of us loved it. I see a ton of bad reviews here about the owner. He was more than accommodating to our group of 5 pulling in late in the evening. Words of advice if you are not witty and sharp then don’t stop here. The owner is just that, witty and sharp if you have no sense of humour I can see how you might be offended. Stop in, say hello. Sit down and eat a meal and enjoy the quirkiness of the place. It’s fabulous. Thanks so much for having us.
Was a horrible experience! Owner is so unbelievably rude. The place is definitely not the “cleanest and greenest”. No fire pit or wifi like the website says.. and when asked he said “ don’t believe everything you see on the internet”. Bathrooms are disgusting. We had to leave due to an emergency and he wouldn’t give us our money back (200 for the week) and said we were lying. Paid cash and no receipt.. something shady going on there. Do not recommend this place at all.
This place is amazing. Best bbq around. Owners will hilariously engage with you. Pretty impressive selection of bbq and buffet items. HIGHLY recommend.
It's a super location not noisy even those close to the road. Well kept RV park. The meal was fantastic and a super good deal. Highly recommended
Nice guy that Mike Dier. He sure makes am awesome pizza!!! The RV park is very well maintained.
