THE BEST! What an amazing place.... Martin and Bernadette are incredible hosts - so warm and welcoming. I Instantly felt at home and enjoyed every second of my stay. The herd is just so beautiful and Bernadette taught me about natural horsemanship with so much love, dedication and passion. I cannot wait to come back and explore more of this piece of paradise and learn more from Bernadette and her horses!

If you want to experience the true Canadian ranch life, Campbell Hills Guest Ranch is the place to go. Bernie and Martin are amazing hosts, very welcoming, fun and personable, and they will do everything they can to make sure you have the best vacation. Bernie is very knowledgeable about natural horsemanship and she will happily teach you how to care for horses, how to connect with them and how to love them. They have found a little piece of heaven that they will generously share with you

This place was perfect for our family break ! The location is absolutly beautiful, and the homestead is so nicely decorated and comfortable. On sunny days we could enjoy the pool and the river. Martin and Bernadette are great hosts and they will give you the tips you need for all the activities to do around the region. We took one horseaback ride with Bernadette and it was also a wondurful experience, it's another interesting way of visiting the area. I recommend this place for everyone ! You can either have a quite time and enjoy nature and the surroundings, or choose to experience new things with all the activities they offer around. Thank you Bernadette and Martin for this little peace of paradise and until next time !

We spent 3 nights here. The location is perfect. Close enough to drive in a day from Vancouver but far enough that you feel like you are away from everything. We rode horses 2 days and both times we alot of fun. It was super interesting to hear about the history of the ranch and why they use bitless bridal. I enjoyed it alot even though Sully was a bit of work to ride. The food is really good. They accommodated my dietary limitations quiet well. I'd recommend it.

What a Brilliant few days participating in the Communications Course. The ranch setting is stunning with gorgeous views, great food, beautiful accommodation, fantastic horses and passionate owners. Having only being introduced to the Natural Horsemanship Philosophy during my short time at the ranch so far I had a lot to learn and improve on during this course. For me, Natural Horsemanship means communicating with the horses in their language rather than ours. This means using cues and commands they use themselves in a herd setting to establish leadership. Immersing ourselves in this philosophy allows us to really understand the horses and for them to understand us, allowing us to be their leader but not their boss! Through this philosophy I believe we can create meaningful and trusting relationships with the horses, meaning they do as we ask through trust rather than fear or force. We had a brilliant introduction to Natural Horsemanship and it has only deepened my interest in this way of working with horses as I believe this philosophy allows us to be much more in harmony with the animals that are so important to us. Thank you Bernie and Martin for sharing your passion, philosophy and home with me, it truly was an experience I will never forget.

After arriving at Campbell hills guest ranch I was keen to expand my knowledge in Natural horsemanship, something I previously knew very little about. Bernadette hosted a four day communications course at the ranch. We focused on building our knowledge of how to work with your horse, using clear communication that the horse is able to read and understand based on his natural instincts. I particularly enjoyed seeing how we could apply exercises that we had learnt in the arena out on a trail ride. Our Accommodations were very comfortable and Martin’s food not only healthy and fresh, but super tasty! Overall very much recommended.
