This is an excellent museum detailing the history of Claresholm, although personally it was a weird experience given that I am a descendant of the oft-mentioned Moffatts in this museum.

loved it we really enjoyed it
I enjoyed this museum, they have great collections of items of the past. I think there is something for everyone. I found the small touches of each store to be very fun to see, especially if it relates to places that we frequent on a regular basis. The barbershop, dentistry, grocery/general/hospital and the tools. You could really spend over an hour here taking in all the details.
Really cool but a little small.
Very educational to learn about some of the survival techniques of the Black Foot First Nations People of Alberta, Canada
What a great little museum and visitors center! Well worth a trip if you are interested in local history or just need a break from driving. Staff are very knowledgeable and friendly - a great spot for a picnic.
Nice local museum full of small surprises, noteworthy is the telegraph station.
Small towns often have mueseums solely because they have to.Claresholm actually has a good mueseum that actually tells the history of the town.
