I have lived here for 35 years. It seems you can not even park on the side of the road anywhere, without having to pay for parking these days. The city should be more worried about the bum/ homeless situation that causes nothin but grief and headaches for small business owners, rather then robbing us hard working tax payers to park on the side of the road. Got a parking ticket on day and time where one isn't supposed to pay for parking. I parked on a Friday, at 2:00 PM, I tried to pay for parking at the machine. The machine won't let me pay, as the sign clearly says that paid parking is only after 4 o'clock on weekdays. I got a parking ticket at 2:27 PM. Pretty disappointed, I don't recommend anyone to park here as their information is misleading. I paid my ticket already, as I don't want to go through all the hustle of disputing 25

Would be nice if the city actually responded to emails it’s citizens take the time to write about important matters in our community. But apparently that’s not city halls way.

Just saying; by law and the people that work at the city hall of kelowna are out to throw tickets out against the old and people on disability, for instance I parked my truck and trailer in at Parkinson recreation center and I have a handicap sticker in my window in plain sight the handicap area was full so I parked in a spot one area over I was only in the pool for one hour and I came out to find a ticket on my window 30. I am on disability I get to live on 780 per month now the city wants to take more from me will OK this is what they do then great hopefully it will help you all eat better to know you just took food out of my mouth I hope you all feel good as you live your life (ps I have bone cancer and I will be dead before you but I hope you all can use the money
