RENTERS BEWARE Rented a sled over 1.5 months ago Jan 8/19 Had a small wreck. I did my due diligence and had all the damages repaired at my own cost, and inspected by BaseCamp Motorsports. The snowmobile was deemed repaired and safe to operate. Have all receipts of repairs and inspection! Feb 28/19 Ryan will NOT release my 2000 dollar damage deposit! He is claiming more damages occurred to the track (“wear from side hilling”, NO missing lugs or cuts, just wear!) and now wants the track replaced. 1.5 months later! Not once has he contacted me regarding this matter, nor made any attempts to bring this matter to my attention. Instead he has kept my damage deposit hostage for over a month 1/2. I have now booked another appointment with BaseCamp motorsports Monday morning Mar 4/19 to have it once again inspected. Hopefully Ryan will come to his senses and return my deposit. Or maybe he is in the business of scamming deposits. Further more I even lent him my sled to use while repairs were being done. He then advertised my snowmobile on his truck on his Kijiji ad for rental, then lent the sled to one of his customers who damaged the right lower A-arm, boot and spindle! I had him replace the A-arm and boot. I did not however have him replace the spindle (300) or the bushings or nuts & bolts(90). Also adding I did the repairs Myself, not charging him shop rates! Ryan is not cut out for this type of business. He is very confrontational, rude and what I would consider a compulsive liar. Also check out his yellow pages reviews. Most of them are written by himself! I will also be writing a review on that page to help others become aware of Ryan’s tactics and business etiquette. DO NOT RENT FROM !!

Pick up and sled rental was great, however the non-returned security deposit which has been over a month is quite frustrating. Contacted Ryan and of course won’t answer calls, also had booked two rental dates and cancelled one of them with a weeks notice and still haven’t seen any of that rental fee returned and that was over six weeks ago. Do not recommend renting here.
I give a 5 stars ️️️️️ rating to Ryan and his team. We rented 4 sleds and all the gears. The sleds were in perfect conditions. We brought the sled and equipment after 2 days of riding... We got our deposit back! I recommend strongly to use Ryan because his service is impeccable
This place is a SCAM i paid the guy cash in the parking lot when picking up to save a few bucks on 2 sled rentals then had to fight to get any deposit back still never got it all even after I agreed with Ryan to pull the bad reviews so he would return the remaining monies ... save yourself the stress rent elsewhere you have better chance of getting your deposit/money back .... there was no damage and I even went out of my way to deliver 1 sled to his next customer on the way back ... ***DONT RENT HERE**** unless you don't care about your deposit

What a Great company!! What a easy no hassle toy rental company! I have now used water and snow twice and Ryan has went out of his way to make our trips possible and stress free. Thank you so much water and snow! Highly recommend and will use them again and again!
People need to wake up and do some research before dealing with Ryan. If you simply Google his personal first and last name you will find he's had 5 companies each year that he starts, scams customers and then goes bankrupt. His legal bankruptcy files are literally online for anyone to see.... he WILL steal your money, simple. Wake up people. When I went to pick up rentals the REPO guy's were literally towing away sleds from his property. SHADY!
Rented a brand new Ski Doo summit from this company in January. Great rates, best I could find. The owner was nice enough to meet me near highway 2 after hours to accommodate where I was going snowmobiling on my way, very nice guy. I even left a pair of goggles in the snowmobile compartment and he shipped them to my house without question. Couldn’t recommend enough and will definitely be using them again for any rentals we need.
