New boulevard into Chemainus, the beautiful library, Waterwheel square and the fresh yellow foot prints add to the beauty of the Chemainus mural experience.

The murals of Chemainus create a wonderful way to slow down your day and explore this charming artisanal town. The more than 40 murals and sculptures were started in the 1980s and now cover most of old and new town. The murals feature much of the history of the town and region. Be sure to check some of the new pieces like the compass at Kin Beach and the walking labyrinth in Waterwheel Park.
