Seven months ago, I visited this store and was delighted by the service I received here. Yesterday, I didn't have the same thought; the cashier who served me, threw my grocery items onto the conveyer belt as I looked at her when the items were coming to me. When she looked at me and saw that I was not impressed by her actions, without apology she stopped and asked me how I was going to pay. What bothered me, she was very polite to a white customer who bought 12 cases of 12 orange crush cans, four cases of perrier sparkling water and paid by credit card. Attached is a copy of my receipt adding to the credibility of the above.

Store was well stocked but only 2 cash open. Stood in line as long as it took to shop. Mi d you I only had a few things to pick up but 10-15 to shop and 10 minutes on line. Cashier was very pleasant I just hate waiting in line that long.

Curious and efficient staff. You do need to watch your prices and carefully check the packaged fruit for spoils.

I shopped here last Saturday and it was chaos at the checkouts. No order to anything, people had no idea how to line up and line jumping was rampant. There were 5-7 different lines forming for 3 cashiers. It's a wonder more fights don't break out. I will stick with No Frills in Wallaceburg. They have a brilliant simple plan that treats all customers fairly. I won't be back to shop at Food Basics until management can figure it out...
