I can't say enough about the high level quality of this program. The content has been thoughtfully and lovingly crafted; backed by research and developed through real life practice over the years. The theory and experiential components are well balanced. The pace kept me on my toes; there's no filler here. Program creators and teachers Gayle and Janice are the real deal. The passion for their work and the heartfelt desire to see their students succeed shines through. They facilitate as a well oiled team and their delivery is inspiring, generous and entertaining. Thank you Gayle and Janice, for a game changing life and professional development experience!

I had the opportunity to take the training in EAL the last week of July. What a great experience! From the time I first contacted them I felt like I was talking with friends. They answered all my questions in a timely and professional manner. As soon as I showed up to begin the course, they made me feel right at home. There is a lot of material to cover in just 5 days! Though the course was intense, it was taught in such a manner that was fun and interesting and covered a ton of material. The mix of practical and theory was just right. The mornings were spent in the classroom covering theory and the afternoons were spent in the arena doing the exercises and learning to facilitate. On Wednesday I wondered how I would possibly learn enough in just two more days to be able to do it on my own, but I sure did! By Friday, I was thinking I really could do this on my own. Gayle, Janice, and Kelsey are fun, knowledgeable and encouraging teachers! They have designed a program that sets you up for success. The material they created as part of your course package is invaluable. I appreciate how it doesn’t end when you leave Cartier Farms. The support they provide to you after is something I look forward to in the future.

Absolutely an amazing program!! I am eternally grateful for this opportunity to move through the program and learn facilitation in EAL. Janice and Gayle were humorous, engaging, kind, knowledgeable, direct AND sensitive all in one. I appreciate their ability to exemplify team work and collaboration. They work well together and their love and passion for this career radiates out of them. Moved to tears as this was a profound and transformative week of learning . Thank you Janice and Gayle for being awesome leaders. Can't put into words my Gratitude. Want to thank my boss, Nancy, for making this possible as well. Many Blessings.

I just finished my week long EAL Facilitator certification. Gayle and Janice met us where we were at both geographically and mentally. They drove out to BC with all their gear and demonstrated their adaptability in dealing with the different types of students and volunteers. And believe me, we had all sorts. The reason I took this course is not because I needed proof that animals can have healing properties and abilities. Nurses put bowties on dogs and march them thru the front doors of hospitals worldwide for for a good reason. I needed proof to show potential clients that horses could do even more for people than a dog wearing a hat. Cartier Farms went out and got the data to show this. They got the proof via an in depth university study that offered a metric to follow the improvments in behavior and quality of life in the students. This allows me to take this program in a very concrete way to very concrete industries such school boards, treatment centers, and a wide range of government agencies. And it friggin works, some things are easier than we make them.

Cartier Farms and it's EAL program is of the highest caliber with solid research and development and has a building block curriculum. It went beyond my expectations for a certification course. I am confident that when I am ready to start my career in EAL that Cartier Farms has given me more than enough tools to start my journey in making my life matter and making a difference for others. Horses are the best teachers and I have always known this but this program has further shown me that an experience with horses can make positive changes in anyone's life. Cartier Farms made this informative course fun and engaging. It's an experience I will never forget. Thank-you Gayle, Janice and Kelsey, and Darryl for the best week of my life.

I took the facilitator course and it was absolutely amazing! Not only does this course teach a lot about horses and EAL but teaches a lot about ourselves. Gayle and Janice were amazing instructors and very engaging. I would highly recommend this course to anyone who wants to become a EAL facilitator!
