This is my 3rd time climbing with Jay and he is 100% my goto guide for all things rock and ice. His careful mentorship and guidance quickly build your climbing ability and his knowledge and stories cover everything you could ever what to know about the Rockies. Will always recommend to anyone looking for a guide.

.I did the ice climbing week with Jay. He's the best guide I ever worked with. He is a very skilled alpinist, his explaination are flawless. He's very knowledgeable and can explain the how and why of every safety procedures. I had so much fun during this week and learned and improved so much. If you want to improve your mountaineering skills and be safer and more autonomous in the mountain, Jay is the guide.
I had the chance to do the ice skills week with CRAG. This is the 4th time I go out with Jay in the last two years, which speaks to the trust and fun I have during his activities. This is a very good course to improve skills. I recommend bringing in foundations that can be improved in order to maximize the learnings in the course. Jay is ready to answer all questions and teach you as much as possible. The places we went to climb are absolutely amazing. For logistics, be ready to have a car to meet the team in different spots.
My family and I enjoyed a wonderful day of rock climbing with Jay. He is a very knowledgeable and skilled guide. He was also really great with kids, he was encouraging and very kind. He found really fun climbs for all of us at a variety of levels to get on and try new things. It was everything we were hoping for.
Amazing weekend spent ice climbing in Canmore. Jay was an excellent guide, full of enthusiasm and knowledge. Would highly recommend!!!
