3-4 hours in line, listening to an annoying song that keeps repeating over and over again. I don't feel respected as a tax payer when trying to get a hold/help by someone at CRA. It is always a pain to call. I wish they could serve us better by providing alternate ways to solve small issues with our online accounts. UPDATE: April 19, 2021 - I waited 4 hours and 15 minutes to then receive an automatic message saying "due to technical difficulties you are being disconnected. Try again later". What a lack of respect! Unbelievable.

Impossible to get a hold of anyone. After navigating the phone system, it finally give a message saying that all agents are busy and the queue is full, then it hangs up on you. I've been trying for hours to get through to someone. Would be great if the money we pay in tax dollars would at least get someone to answer a phone, or have an automated call back system like almost every single other call center. I get fined and could have my accounts frozen if I don't file my taxes on time, yet, when I have an issue and need further information on said taxes, it's fine for CRA to push me off to the side until it's convenient for them...
One cannot get through to an agent. All the messages seem to relate to how to get a Covid refund. I would like to get someone about an income tax refund that I claimed for in April of 2020. Still have not received. Try to get an agent on the telephone appears impossible. If they had a system like many companies whereby you leave your number and get called back by an agent that might eliminate what appears to be a disfunctional system.
"All of our agents are currently busy, please stay on the line, your call will be answered by the next available agent". I don't even know how to play guitar, but I'm pretty sure if you hand me one, I would easily bust out the elevator music that is played on hold, as I am intricately familiar with every note by now.
You wait on hold for an hour to talk to someone for 2 minutes to be put on hold again for another 10 mins for them to give you incorrect information so your put on hold again and then you get hung up on. Then you need to call back again and wait on hold for another hour to get someone different and start the process over again. Off you hang up on someone at least have the decency to call them back so they don't have to go through all the wait and story again and again.
Big fail on multi factor authentication registration. Who did GoC contract to develop it?!!
Cant even get through to speak to anyone the que is always full.
On hold for three hours, still no answer, had to hang up because I have places to be.
