A beautiful oasis in Kananaskis country. The tipis are super fun and cozy!

Went for beginners horseback riding lessons. Instructor Brandon was absolutely amazing, with a memory like a steel trap. Brandon is a keeper, any place he works is really lucky to have him. He even took the picture...

My husband and I had our wedding at Camp Chief Hector this June and we all had a blast! The staff, caterers and bar staff were great, they allowed us to have our two dogs as well to share our special day which was so awesome. We rented the Forrest House and Hector Lodge, and everyone had a good stay over the weekend, I definitely recommend getting married here, or having any other special event, the scenery is breathtaking, and it’s much more affordable and the funds go to a great cause.

I can't say enough good things about this place. The coordinators, counselors, Cooks, and everyone were phenomenal, professional, and helpful. The camp is very very well-designed and operated with great efficiency for large amounts of children. I recommend taking your class in a heart beat.

Really good camp for kids. Canoeing, horseback riding, etc. You need to book your kids in early to get a spot. Please click on the like button if this review was useful. Thanks!

I remember going to Camp Chief Hector in Grade 6 (now in grade 11), from what I’ve remembered the camp was a spectacular place to go to!! There was a moment where my camp group would sing some songs and eat s’mores and it was so entertaining! the only problem I encountered was the bed bunks were uncomfortable to sleep in! I rate this camp a 4/5

A great camp when I went for years in the early fifties! Then I sent my three daughters and they loved it. This July (2018) my granddaughter is going for her second season!
