Spend an evening here for a birthday celebration. Great ambiance and more importantly fresh and not so common in Alberta, British cuisine. Staff was great and attentative with great suggestion for pairing food with drinks and detailed explanation of the menu items. Gin selection is exceptional. Overall great expericence was one to remember. Be prepared to pay for all of the above which is expected from a restaurant of this class.

What used to be a bank, with high ceilings and white walls, it all contribute to make it an inviting place to enjoy a bite. The service was to point, efficient and friendly. The food was good, did feel that a few of the dishes were trying too hard, but I do appreciate the effort. For example, the pine dessert pushes your taste buds with some unusual but good flavors. Presentation was fantastic! Overall, great restaurant and a very enjoyable dining experience.
We had decided to choose Whitehall for our wedding dinner with the family, it was a great choice. They were very accommodating with the menu, in terms of allergies and even preference of which dishes were offered. Everyone absolutely loved the food, and the pate was especially amazing. The service was just as good as the food; helpful, attentive and friendly the whole evening. I would definitely recommend Whitehall for a special event or a simple night out.
Clean your palate and bring your appetite! Food here is obviously prepared by a talented chef. Presentation is eye candy and the service was outstanding. The beef was so tender I thought I had mistakenly popped a pad of butter into my mouth. Yorkshire pudding was as big as a cabbage and yet fluffy and tasty. We never felt rushed and couldn't have been more pleased by the warm and welcoming atmosphere. Our thanks to the entire staff for such a great afternoon. If you eat here, take your time and enjoy a wonderful eating experience. I know we will definitely be back!
Bright and elegant decor with welcoming, friendly while very professional service. Food could use some experimentation with spice. Great wine recommendations from servers. One of the most delightful dining experiences I had in Calgary. (Visited summer 2015)
My boyfriend and I went here last Friday and had a wonderful experience! Before we even walked in, the manager ( I believe) was outside of the door taking a phone call and stopped what he was doing to welcome us and open the door! Talk about going above and beyond to make us feel welcomed and valued. After our delicious meal, we walked out of the restaurant and the same manger came after us outside and asked us how our dinner was and we appreciated that he would even chase after us to inquire about it. A stunningly beautiful place with lots of light and it was an extremely peaceful place to start the weekend off right. We will be back!
The signature cheese soufflé was amazing, the beef and Yorkshire pudding delicious. I've never been much of a gin cocktail fan but the Rosemary Old Fitz has changed that, absolutely delicious. A wonderful dining experience and the service was exceptional. Loved the ambiance of the restaurant and the bunker is a fun and interesting feature. Literally I cannot say enough great things about this restaurant and the team working here.
