I think Walden Place has a great value. They provide great quality of products and service. Home's basic materials are much better than other competitors, of course I upgraded some parts and love it. I really like the open style kitchen and living room, and double vanity ensuite bathroom. In my research, not many builders provide a bigger bathroom than mine surprisingly. I was also surprised by the fact that Walden Place's condo plans are actually more organized and cleaner than higher price range of some stacked style townhomes. I have had few minor things to concern when I purchased my unit. First one was the size of parking lot, second one was noise isolation and last one was the lack of guest parking lots because I saw some people complained about these. Yes, having only one parking lot is downside of having a condo unit. If possible, get 2 parking lots for your family or future car. However, it is just a general disadvantage of buying a condo, not only Walden Place. I measured parking lot's size and it is completely okay. Noise isolation issue can be different by cases. However, I don't have any noise level problems in my unit. Interesting thing is that I can hear many sounds from other units in the hallway, but it is really quite once I am in the unit. I haven't heard any single footstep sound yet. Guest parking lots are enough so far since there aren't many guests yet. Overall, I recommend to go for checking if you are looking for a modern, functional and worthy place.
My friend recently purchased a condo with Cardel lifestyles and they have had nothing but problems. You can hear every footstep upstairs often waking any neighbor up unintentionally at all times in the morning. For a lower level apartment security is a priority and the door did not lock for a month as they neglected to fix it. The area has patchy service so cell reception constantly cuts in and out. Even though it is a new area there has always been construction which can increase your normal journey to add upto a 15 minutes increase travel time. The people who live in the area are lovely but many feel trapped and cheated by there purchase. Buyer beware!
We love our condo at Walden Place! So does our dog, because with Cardel's very effective sound treatment we don't have to hide the squeaky toys. Walden has tons of amenities like natural ponds, playgrounds, shopping, and Walden Place is on 2 bus routes that get to the train as fast as driving your own car, so getting to work is easy. Come be a part of our friendly and diverse community!
I am a first time property buyer and I chose to purchase at Walden Place. It has been a fantastic decision for me. Its in a great location with lots of shops close by and tons more to come, close to multiple bus stops, and in a great community which has lots of parks and green spaces for people of all ages. I highly recommend Walden Place as a place for first time buyers all the way to people looking to downsize. There's something for everyone.
