AVOID DRIVING TESTS HERE. I brought my friend here to do her driving test to get her class 5. Besides being rather expensive to take the test and drive their car their failure rate must be very very high. OK. As a driver I don't disagree with failing bad drivers. However my friend she's not one and has been trained by me who has a class 3 and 10,000 hours on the road behind a truck with out incident. She failed the first time for going a few km over the speed limit and some other things. OK thats fair. Fail her. She goes again. Pays the huge fee and drives with the same female instructor again. Improved on everything she failed on the first time. Didn't even get marked on any of them. This time? She fails for driving under the speed limit, yielding at a yield sign when she was coming around a corner and thought she saw a car. Marked for going 40 in a 60km zone as she was slowing down for an upcoming traffic light that was red. Was marked on all new things with the very same instructor! And what she was marked on? The very vague things that you or I would probably get marked on. My friend is a good driver and extremely polite. So all I am left with is they fail on purpose to RIP OFF unsuspecting young drivers to come again and again. Oh wait though... before you think it may be isolated. I've sat in that parking lot two times during these tests and a few times while she went in to register for them. I've seen a lot of long faces in the parking lot from other students and heard other instructors failing other students. Point is? It smells very fowl here. It wreaks of ripping people off. And I will likely report this place to the Government of Alberta at another time for these suspicions. If you have these suspicions also report them. Oh but as a registry personally they're not too bad.

I've always had a good experience here. Yeah they're not the most cheerful, but they're efficient.

Suzanne was awesome, helped my father in law out. She was dealing with a really mean person, but she remained professional. Hope she has a better day.

I wanted to renew my ID and when I asked for a 2 year renewal the lady told me 5 years is the only one they do and I told her I renewed it last year for only a year at that very location and then I told her on the Alberta website it shows you can get anywhere from a 1 year to a 5 year renewal and the prices for each. I guess she didn’t like that and told me she wasn’t arguing or going to renew it for only 2 years. When I tried to ask any of the other clerks about the 5 years thing no one would answer. They just wanna squeeze the maximum amount of money they can out of you. Had to leave an go to a different registry that had no issue renewing my ID for 2 years. An absolutely disgusting business you should avoid at all costs.
