I loved this place! Both the meat and the sides were cooked to the perfection. The server was very nice and friendly as well.

The stumbled on The Place looking for a place to dine in as many places do not offer dine in service during this Covid 19 event. We sure are glad we went. Don't let the 70's steakhouse decor deter you. For us it enhanced the experience! The staff are truly excellent. Friendly and attentive. The food was excellent and served piping hot. So nice on a wet Sunday evening. We would not hesitate to go back. Places like this are becoming more rare, so please check this place out and understand why this place still exists in an age of craft beers and single origin coffee.
I dined here a few days ago and unfortunately did not have a great experience. The waiter kept pulling his mask down to speak to people, and announced to another couple that were dining that \Covid is a hoax\, which gives me zero faith that any additional cleaning measures are taking place, especially in the kitchen, where customers can't see what is going on. While the decor was cute and I liked the homey feel, I definitely will not be returning as I want my food to be prepared by people who I can be confident are taking the extra precautions to make sure I don't get sick.
So disappointed. For over 20 years this was our go to spot for an awesome lasagna. Something has changed drastically. Very little sauce and cheese and very dry. Even the garlic toast was notably dry. Manager seemed unconcerned and offered no remedy. Very sorry to see this longtime Bowness favorite go down the tubes. R.I.P
Such a great place! I love the cozy feeling and the decor is old school and so wonderful:) The food is always good, you can’t go wrong with the pizza, lasagna or steak and mushrooms. Make sure to try the Greek salad:) They are family friendly and always have a game on if it’s worth watching! Love The Place!!
