I was pleased to find my friend in this war museum that fought in Afghanistan. I had no idea this gem was right here in Calgary. It's the second largest military museum in Canada and definitely takes some time to get through. I highly recommend you make a visit and donation when it's open again. We're very lucky to have it here.

I paid a visit when spending a free day on a business trip from Scotland. Museum was small but had enough going on to keep me engaged. Cold War hanger was awesome and I spent quite a bit of time talking to Bill who explained all about the Air Force role. Really enjoyed my day there and the staff were lovely to me.
You’d love it if you’re a military fan. We didn’t read everything, and it took us almost 2 hrs. Highly recommended. There’re lots of tanks outside the buildings. Very cool!
We could have spent a lot more time if not for the kids having walked 3 hours around the place! Very informative and extremely well done recreations of scenes and event. Definitely a must if you have not gone. There were hardly any other visitors around which worked well for us given the social distancing norms and all.
The place was very informative and the staff were very helpful. We had a wee bit of trouble finding parking.... it was family day and they had special scavenger hunt organized which got my little one engaged. Overall the exhibits were very well done and we spent the whole morning exploring the various exhibits. There was no place to buy any food stuff or snacks that got everybody going hungry... they should do something about it. The show was the highlight. We were happy like shutterbugs and you can see just a couple we posted down below and we still had a ton of pictures and had fun going about snapping the hell out of our cameras. Nice place to go if you want up go and learn about Canadian Armed Forces.
What a beautiful military museum! Bought my son here because he love military stuff and he enjoyed walking around and looking at everything. So much stuff to look at and spend time learning. Definitely a great museum!
The Military Museum I wish I had more time for this and had to cut my visit short. New to me is the Cold War set up with an F86 Sabre, F104 Star Fighter and an F18 Hornet. Enjoyed the static vehicles outside including the T34 tank. Enjoyed the lifesize dioramas and the large mural.
Very interesting for the kids and the adults, we spent two hours and we want to go again , very organized lots of information , free parking , it is a great place to visit
