My husband took me here for my birthday after a coworker recommended it to him. We loved the ambiance and decor of the place. It was quiet and dark and was really nicely decorated. The food was very good, we had never tried Moroccan cuisine and we were excited to try it. The flavors were wonderful, the lamb was some of the best I've ever had. My husband got a dish with the hen, the hen was fall of the bone tender. Everything was really great and I look forward to trying more in the future. The not as great, I felt the service left a bit to be desired. We were about 10 minutes early for our reservation, I felt as though we were an inconvenience, even though our table was set up, clear and ready for us. We stood awkwardly in the entrance way with the skip the dishes drivers. Being as Moroccan food is not the most mainstream cuisine here, and I believe most people have not tried it before, a little bit of guidance with the menu would have been appreciated, or at least an offer of recommendations. I felt the server was maybe a little bit annoyed with us after we were early, and I felt that the service did suffer a bit from that. It wouldn't stop us from returning, but I think it was a low point of the otherwise amazing meal.

Honestly the best restaurant I've ever seen. The decor was so beautiful and romantic, it felt like you just stepped onto a movie set. Very Arabian nights. The food was delicious. I loved the harissa sauce and the lamb. We also had a great server who made some great recommendations. Thank you Rani. I can't wait to come back the next time I'm in Calgary.
The restaurant is decorated Beautifully and the ambience was lovely. The hen I had was very tender and tasty! Well portioned and I would highly recommend anyone to come here. It’s a nice getaway from the usual dine in experience! Our waiter was really nice too.
This is the perfect restaurant for a romantic date! The restaurant was decorated so beautifully! I loved the atmosphere. The service was attentive and friendly. The food was amazing! I was reminded of my trip to Morocco!
Just had dinner there, everything is so nice and inviting. The owner is super welcoming and the most significant thing that really got us at first sight is the restaurant decoration! Wow! Many many pictures in each corner and each one will be equally stunning .. We really recommend this place for a special dine out.
Amazing restaurant with wide variety of delicious food. Nothing we tried wasn’t made with passion. The ambiance there is just marvelous! It takes you to a whole new world! The chef is the owner & his wife, so you can expect the best food quality!
I went there before the pandemic started, and the only Restaurent I’m looking forward to go back to is The Casbah Restaurent. The service was friendly, owner was serving us and he explained every single thing about every single dish we asked about, and recommended to us couple of dishes because it was our first time there and we loved the choices we made based on his recommendations. Food was tasty and filling, we got so much food it was so delicious and unfortunately we were not be able to finish it because we had so much food but have a bit the second day from the previous night meal was amazing. Prices are fair, for the food, service, drinks we got and the decorations of this place we really think it was priced fairly. We will can’t wait to go back and enjoy the richness of the decorations , food and the amazing service.
