My mom had purchased her cremation 20 years ago with the First Memorial Society. This made the whole process so easy for us. With Covid we were able to do everything online.The staff were quick to answer questions and so pleasant and friendly. I would recommend First Memorial to anyone who is or will be looking towards services for a loved one.

I had a funeral organized here earlier in 2017 and the staff (Jake) were professional and compassionate. We were invited back for a Candle Lighting Ceremony to reflect on our loss coming into the Christmas season and what a pleasant surprise this event was. It was great with the live music, including refreshing newer songs, and helpful readings by a variety of different pastor's. I have been impressed by South Calgary Funeral, thank you to Jake and all the staff to help us during this year of grieving.
The staff was very accommodating and thoughtful in our time of sorrow. They took care of all our needs in a very comforting way.
I was very pleased & pleasantly surprised how well everything went. All the staff, I encountered while arranging my mother's funeral, were excellent. I felt no pressure at all to buy anything we couldn't afford or didn't want. They just let us know what was available and that was that. The steps up to the day went seamless and the funeral was done very well and safely. We had a few people who needed to avoid contact but it wasn't an issue. Chairs were set up in groups of 2,3 & 4 so you could choose your space. With a very emotional day, I didn't have to worry about a thing. Thank you to all involved!
Very professional. Everyone who helped us was very kind & very informative. Would it hesitate to recommend. Only critique I would offer is the plastic cremain bags were too flimsy.
