Excellent club. You notice as soon as you walk in. Good karate has a certain reverence for movement and almost life in general, and this place has it. There is a welcoming environment, camaraderie, excellent instruction and the space is great. Karate is like anything where you only get out, what you put in. But it makes you want to 'put in' more when you're in a great environment for Shotokan karate. I'd go every day, if I could.

I have been training with Senseis Phillip and Nancy for almost 6 years now and am continually impressed with their enthusiasm and patience. Everyone (teachers and fellow students alike) is supportive and encouraging. It is a traditional style of karate - respect for others is key and there are definitely standards which must be met in order to pass to the next belt level. Loving the new larger facility!
Great presentation and good way to engage kids while learning. Good techniques to keep kids active. Presenters are knowledgeable and know what they are doing.
I joined the club a few years ago and it was the best decision I could have made. A very high level of expertise, a great facility, and a friendly environment to grow in.
We have know Sensei Nancy and Phillip for many years. They have been most encouraging and supportive to both my sons. My younger one is still training and he finds Sensei Philip to be a great role model. The club is teaching respect and discipline in a warm and friendly environment. It is like being a part of a large \ family\ . Great club and wonderful teachers.
