The food is always good. Quantity and quality. Usually one plate with soup can feed two people. Everytime my family or myself are passing through Calgary we have ti stop here, it has become a tradition now. The prices are very reasonable as well. The owner is every welcoming and nice

I have been craving for middle east food and someone recommended this. The food was good, I had dolmeh as my appetizer, it was served warm and tastes good too! I ordered spicy kebab and regular beef kebab, I like the spicy more than the plain one. The basmati rice was fluffy with a drizzle of safron oil and 2 halves of grilled tomatoes, for my 2nd order I asked for additional grilled tomato. I knew that the kebabs were freshly made and grilled, very tasty! I was the only one in the restaurant during a Sunday lunch. The wait staff was friendly. Restaurant is clean. Mens washroom was clean. Service was fast, I guess since I'm the only one in the restaurant. Location was very good too, you can take bus from DT to get here. Theres a double parking at the back, but could be a problem when going out. Overall this is really close to those Arab restaurants I loved in Qatar. It would be great if there were sides included in the plate, but I understand that it can be an acquired taste and not everyone might like it. I paid 35 for all, pretty ok. I'll eat here again.

Lamb shanks, spicy vazeri and their zafron pistachio ice cream with baklava are must haves.

Do yourself a favor and use Skip the Dishes. The food was great, but the service was less than attentive. It took a long time for our order to be taken. Beverages were only refilled when we specifically asked... and then slowly. Used plates were not removed. The main course was very slow in arriving. The new owner may be trying to save money by not hiring additional staff. This may end up a costly decision, we won't be in a rush to return. If you want to enjoy the great food, order and eat it at home!

Everyone are very nice and quick service. I just didn't like the portion size. Too much rice and not enough kebabs.

Have to say a little disappointed with this place. One waiter to cater the whole restaurant. Server didn't check up with us consistently, we had to continuously ask for our utensils, water, and proper main course plates. Food overall was very good; however, it took quite a long time to arrive. The poor waiter seemed overwhelmed, due to amount of costumers. * Fair warning the Spicy Chicken pizza is very spicy, and I am one to usually enjoy spices .

Got food to go, but the restaurant seemed very nice and cozy. Staff were kind and attentive and the food is delicious. I'm not sure I've ever had Persian food before, but I really like what I got, which was Vaziri. Tasty!
