I had done some recreational free diving in the past and decided I would do an AIDA1 to learn some theory. Luca Malaguti is just an amazing and passionate instructor who breath and live free diving. Very knowledgeable and deeply interested in the science behind free diving reflexes and training, Luca is THE instructor you want to learn with. Very conscious of safety requirements, you are in good hands with Sea to Sky Freediving.

I took the AIDA1 course here with Luca (ran in Calgary), Aug 2020. I appreciated his skill and knowledge- coming from a background in science -he's the Alton Brown of Freediving. He discusses a lot of the "why" - which is very much appreciated. I increased my personal best static breath hold by 45 seconds during this brief half day course- it's amazing what a bit of skilled hands on teaching can accomplish. Thanks Luca!
