I phoned Plastic Works to enquire about some pricing. The employee that answered the phone was extremely rude. I said I had a quick question for him to which he replied \It better be quick I have 3 customers here and 3 trucks in the back waiting\ I said never mind than to which I received a nasty \Thanks\ and a quick hang up. If someone is so busy why pick up the phone? I can't recommend a company that treats customers so poorly on just a 17 second phone call! Given the companies response to this review I can see that they are very unprofessional in all manners of communication :) Anyone that is looking for a better experience with having plastic products built I would suggest Fuse 33 they are a local makers space that is not deeming or sexiest to customers and can help with your project. If you are looking for injection molding I would suggest Alta Injection as they are another company that is professional and courteous

I had the same service that Ryan and Svea had. The fellow I spoke to was complete impossible to deal with. Don't shop here.
I just had a less-than-excellent conversation with one of the employees at Plastic Works, who was demeaning and called me “hun” about 10 times while I was trying to explain what I was looking to have fabricated and continued to minimized the importance of my project. After saying it would not be possible to build, I offered a suggestion at how it could be built to which he replied “oh well yeah we can make it that way but it’s going to be really expensive”. Is this how you treat all your customers? You assume off the bat they can’t afford the quote, rather than just providing it? It’s hard to find fabricators who willingly work with artists, particularly if you’re a woman. Not impressed, wouldn’t feel comfortable using them after this interaction.
Geez, I’m a little upset that no one called me hun when I was there, lol. I have nothing but good things to say about John, the owner of Plastic Works. I needed some small plastic box looking things made for a project but wasn’t really sure about size, material, etc. I stopped into Plastic Works for the first time with a sheet of paper with my ideas. I could see that John was busy in the shop but he actually took a few minutes to help me, he gave me great advise and came up with a product that was less than I thought. If your looking for an honest guy who works hard, go see John.
The staff of this establishment are fantastic to deal with. We deal with this company often and always enjoy the experience. John has a can do attitude and is incredibly honest.
