No wonder this place is closing down! The rude-ness of the staff was beyond anything I've ever experienced. They were very unfriendly and I got a dirty look for wanting to buy something and she abruptly walked away from me when the interaction was over. And no, I was Not rude to them first to receive that behaviour in return. This happened both times I was in there from 2 different staff members. They only have 11 more days until the store closes, so I would avoid the disappointment if you can do without the discounted overpriced products.
always had luck with finding stationaries here ! the lady though she was busy wrapping something for someone who was waiting *she was the only one scheduled or only one at the store at the moment - was very professional and was super helpful despite the fact she's the only one in the store - I waited for a bit with pleasure as she continued to serve all of us *I think there was five people there including me with balance attending to each of our needs. I find the same service at the downtown location too - good management I may add so if you are in town in Calgary - visit these paper places and find a card or two you'd like to use now or later!
the person working was very rude and very hostile i came in asking about the pricing of pens and her tone of voice was rude i was being kind and asking if it was a slow day and she gave me A LOT of attitude saying how she was very busy and making me feel like i was at fault for coming in and wanting to buy something. so i apologized for coming in since she was so busy. on a slow day or not i can understand you have things to get done but being rude and hostile to customers is not okay.
Great selection of greeting cards that are unique and special. While a majority of cards are more seasonal, there is still plenty of selection for one offs like sympathy, get well etc type of cards. Additionally, plenty of non card items as well. Definitely recommend joining the club when buying cards to get the 4th card free which makes a difference at such price points for the cards.
Although the card and gift selection was amazing, the prices are ridiculous. I bought the exact same card at Chapters for almost half the price....
