Fun place! Great for the nostalgia. Loved all the costumes people were wearing. 3 stars because it was crazy busy when we went so we felt a little unsafe with the amount of people vs our lack of skating skills. Also the rental blades were not great quality. We had to switch back a couple as the straps were broken or something else didn't seem right. In the end my sister hurt her leg as the inside 'bootie' of the blade was so worn the plastic rubbed into her skin. I would recommend it and go again, but with lower expectations.

So family friendly! My kids love it here! Who am I kidding, so do I!! I always call ahead, or check their website for their hours, when we go, because they have a lot of different public times. However they are always open, and ready for business when they're supposed to be. Furthermore, I feel like the staff go above and beyond to give their patrons incredible service.

My experience was AMAZING! There were about 5 people in wheelchairs and the DJ announced over the intercom " Give an applause for the people in wheelchairs trying to have fun like us!!!" and then the D.J gave the people a free a sucker just for being there!! Wow , what lovely people! I would definitely go there anytime i can! And the staff were so sweet and the food was great and i love that the place was so old fashioned that when we went on the rank we felt like we were in the 90's!

What an awesome time. A family can go skate their hearts out for less then the cost of one movie ticket. Awesome night.

Considering this place has been around for as long as it has it is still pretty fun! It is pretty good value do what you get!

I'm going to miss this place. It's been around forever and is a fun place to go. It's a Calgary landmark. It's fun to go with friends or family. No doubt many Calgarians have decades of memories here. Go while you can and don't forget to take your kids and camera.
