Total rip-off. Sold me used damaged equipment with no option for refund. I trusted them and they screwed my for almost 2000. Never go there. Scam artists.

Great service, and great prices. I go to kens for all my supplies. Easier and less hassle than waiting for delivery when I buy online. When I visit jewelry and gem shows around the US and Asia, there are two things that always surprise me. 1. The extremely positive image the jewelry world has of Calgary. 2. How EVERYONE knows Ken's Gems and asks about him as soon as they learn you are from Calgary. All in all I give them five stars. this is the type of business I like to spend my money at. Family owned, Family run, and always there to help me with even my dumbest questions :)

I would not revisit this store. The service was poor and the attitude was somewhat antagonistic. For a nicer atmosphere and a professional attitude, try ACAD. They are less expensive than Kens and have a friendly attitude. I would give this business a one star for the simple reason, the one gentleman who did assist me, was congenial but I don't believe he was a family member.
