Dale taught my wife and I ten different types of dances , and I could do them, not bad for my first time , the venue is large and the music is great.it was a great experience.

My 9 year old daughter has been attending Dancenergy for 5 years. She now dances competitively with them. I have come to know the owners quite well. I think what makes this studio stand out is Gerald and Robyn's warmth and sincerity. Dance is their passion and it is truly their intent to share this passion. Newcomers will feel at ease in the Friday night group lessons. No one judges and everyone is there to have fun. For the more experienced, you can book private lessons for one on one practice. The studio is bright and beautiful and the showcase that takes place each June in the studio is phenomenal. All of the students have a chance to show off their hard work for the year. If you are slightly interested in dance but feel shy, don't worry! Give them a call and you will be happy you did.
A great place to learn to dance. Paige was excellent in private lessons. I have attended the Friday parties and from the very first time attending both Paige and Maria made me feel welcome. They helped teach me during the dance party, which was very nice of them with me being a beginner and not really knowing anything. I have also taken a group class with Lorna and she was terrific in making sure everyone was on track and kept it fun. The classes were smaller about 10 to 12 and easy to see what to do. I found the classes quite fun and a great place to learn. So I would like to say thanks to Paige, Maria, Lorna, Christopher ( he is no longer there) and Robin for teaching me and making it fun and entertaining. While going here a few times I have met the owners Robin and Gerald and they are both really friendly people and great dancers. Their videos are on YouTube are amazing... I am still learning and hope you have as much fun as I do.
I signed my 3 year old daughter for dancing in this studio. She has been going to dance almost every friday for the last 5 months. She has recently had her first dance performance. She loves her teachers. She loves going to the school and now she loves performances. Thank you for teaching her. The positive atmosphere and the nice instructors make it fun for her to learn new dance moves and socialize with other children. My daughter talks about the school all the time when she gets home. Its nice knowing that she has a nice future hobby that she has started on :)
Good instruction, good personal dance lesson. Still need to attend a practice party, and will update, but I did not really like the vibe. The atmosphere felt very corporate not warm.
Not only is Dancenergy the most exciting and fun place to dance in Calgary, the owners are great people; professionally, as employers, and as friends and fellow dancers. Loved working at this place and later attending their social dances. Thank you, Robin and Gerald, for your passion and energy!
The staff were rude to me and my daughter. My daughter came home crying to beg me not to come anymore. I went to see if I could take her name off the list. They yelled at me saying inappropriate words in front of my daughter, didn't do anything about it either. So I basically wasted my money on this horrible dance place. A waste of money and time.
