Having gone to Cheyenne Frontier days many times, my expectations were high. Albeit the rodeo was not in town on our visit. But it just does not have that old west feel. I am sure when all the vendors etc. get here it will improve, but there is something old school missing.

The guest services were extremely helpful on site and downtown. Overall a good day out. The second day was much the same but less people which made for a better day. At the end of the evening was a fantastic show of singing and dancing culminating in a fantastic firework show. This was definitely the highlight of the two days.

Calgary Stampede is truely a delight to participate. The rodeos are world class and a very energetic crowd.

We spend literally 10 hours there and you could spend more. Easy to get around with the map they gave us and plenty of food and bathrooms. Pro tip: best bathrooms are in the Wild West oasis. Go through the shopping indoor area and way in the back is another huge room.

The Calgary Stampede... calls itself the greatest outdoor show on earth. Its definitely a fun Annual event that literally shuts down the entire city. Lots to do and see with the family or for date night. I will say be prepared to dish out some premium coin for this outing ... or over the next 10 Days.
