I have never done a testimonial, but @affinityacademy is such an amazing #BJJ academy. I started my son at a Affinity because of location, but I would drive twice as long to get here now. Their dedication to training and fun has made a huge positive impact on my son. The normal, elite, and competition classes are amazing for kids. They have an average of 3 coaches every kids session. I went all the way through the process of registration, visited the location, had a very good presentation from Coach Nathan, could observe that the three male coaches were professional and passionate, I paid a full year in advance for both of my twins, unfortunately, the lady handling the registration process and the contract was completely unreasonable, she wanted to impose a termination clause that triggers a 13 months payment commitment maximized to 250 per month in case something happens that I have no control over. I tried to explain that it did not make sense and was ready to approve a one month termination notice if anything major happens to us, but she kept insisting the same contract is signed by everyone, while the termination clause will charge a client under the 1 year advance payment option differently from the one under a monthly option, it was ridiculous, the contract is shared in a digital format, I doubt many read it, be careful what you sign for..the waiver included the mention \ killing\ which was pointed out and the same lady insisted it was normal. It was quite disappointing, a loss of our time for my kids, husband and myself.

This is a great place to learn BJJ! Having no prior experience in martial arts this has been a welcome challenge and hobby for me. Being a germaphobe, the extensive cleaning regimen is very appreciated. Overall the teachers are very understanding of your goals and they do their best to help you crush them.
